Register To Vote
Register to vote or update your name and
address in a few easy steps.
To be eligible to register in South Carolina,
you MUST:
-
be a U.S. citizen
-
be a resident of South Carolina, the county
and the precinct
-
be at least eighteen years old on or before
the next election
-
not be declared mentally incapacitated by a
court of law
-
not be confined in any public prison
resulting from a conviction of a crime
-
not be convicted of a felony (unless a
person's sentence is completed, including any probation or parole) or
have received a pardon for the conviction.
An individual must be a registered voter at
least 30 days prior to any election in order to vote in that election.
